Weigela

We found that planting this dwarf shrub during early fall or spring in a sunny spot yields the best results. We also saw that within just two years, this deciduous shrub leaps up to heights between 2m to 3m (6.5ft to 9.8ft), it is also considered a tiny and minimal care shrub. Spring is its time to shine when the bush dons a cloak of lovely trumpet-shaped, purple blooms.

Hydrangea

It is best to plant these fast growing shade shrubs called Hydrangeas in the fall or early spring, like most plants. Spots with morning sun and afternoon shade are best for the plant, and it can also be planted indoors. Some Hydrangeas only grow to about 0,6m to 0,9m (2ft to 3ft) tall and wide, while others grow up to 1,8m (6ft) tall with a 1,8m (6 ft) spread.

Arborvitae

Often confused with a Cypress bush, Arborvitae stands as a high shrub for creating privacy, its evergreen boughs reaching skywards up to 9m (30 ft) or more. The fast growing bush is a natural curtain against prying eyes and harsh winds. While it adores the sun, it's forgiving to those who plant it a tad late in the fall.
