Content Authors and Originality
Nature and Sustainability offers the highest quality content possible. Each article has a byline at the bottom that includes the name, a bio, an image, and a link to further information for each person who contributed to that article, we also display the names at the top of the article. The date at the top of the article indicates when the article was last updated with new information, revisions, or improvements.
We focus on 80% human written content and 20% AI written content because the best writers, with experience, produce the best possible outcome when combined with the newest technologies used with the right technique. That's why we allow writers to use software such as ChatGPT to research new facts and improve their writing with suggestions from such AI text models.
Original Images and Graphics
Original illustrations, graphics, images, and videos are created by internal teams, who collaborate with experts in their fields to produce assets that represent diverse voices, perspectives, and contexts. We try to keep the images as original as possible and review this on an ongoing basis including the design to provide the best user experience possible.
We correct any factual errors transparently and strive to make it easy for our readers to bring errors to our attention.
Fact Checking
Nature and Sustainability's team of experienced writers and reviewers provides a critical level of review to ensure content integrity. It is your job to research all factual claims to ensure that the news and information presented in our articles are accurate and comprehensive and that statistics are properly sourced and up to date. Articles that have been officially fact-checked and revived will display a "reviewed by" badge next to the author at the bottom of the page, along with the name, bio ad image of the reviewer.
If you have encountered an issue that you would like to bring to our attention, please let us know by emailing contact (at) natureandsustainability (dot) com.
Accuracy and Corrections
Our editorial team is committed to producing high-quality, factual content. If there is an error in a story, we will correct the error as quickly as possible. All corrections will be clearly labeled as such and will include what was changed and when. When an article is factually correct, but the language is not as clear or detailed as necessary, the story may be updated without an editor’s note.
News articles often cover a distinct event in time, so they are not routinely updated. Our library of "evergreen" service content is routinely updated, reviewed by our professional review boards, and fact-checked to ensure the information is accurate, complete, relevant, and up-to-date. Each article is date-stamped at the top to reflect when they were last updated.
If you see a mistake and want to report it, you can do so by emailing contact (at) natureandsustainability (dot) com.
